Reservation Policy

All reservations require full payment of the reservation at time of booking, which is fully refundable if cancelled up to 7 days prior to your check-in date. Your reservation is guaranteed until the day of arrival. After that time, if we have not received communication from you, and you have not arrived it will no longer be guaranteed and the room may be reassigned. We will charge the deposit to your credit card within 24 hours after we have confirmed your reservation. The hotel has the right to cancel your reservation if we do not receive the Pre-Payment Deposit. We will send you a cancellation confirmation via email immediately after canceling your booking.

All requests to reserve a room must include the first and last name of all adults occupying the room and a valid credit card for a guarantee of arrival.

When booking, keep maximum occupancy rules in mind- two people max for each room.

Pet Policy

Pets are allowed only in the specified pet-friendly suites. All other rooms on our property are not pet-friendly. Pet friendly rooms are charged an additional $50.00 per night for additional cleaning costs to ensure our facility continues to exceed guest expectations of cleanliness.

Should your furry friend shed a great amount or have a potty accident in the room, an additional cleaning fee will be charged to the credit card on file in the amount of $50. Should your pet cause property or item damage, an incidental fee will be charged at market value to your credit card on file. No cats or venomous creatures are allowed at any time in any of our rooms.

Check-in at 4:00pm

You can check-in any time from 4PM by local time. Early check-in is available for an additional fee, subject to availability. Please note, our office is closed after 6PM, if assistance is required please arrive between 4PM and 6PM. You will be provided with door codes for the main entrance and your room via SMS text and email the morning of your arrival. The balance of the reservation amount is payable on arrival at check-in time. Please note that check-in cannot be completed until security deposit pre-authorization for the room has been received and approved.

Check-out at 11:00am

You can check-out any time up until 11AM by local time. Later check-out times may be requested and are subject to a fee and availability. Please note that a more detailed inspection of the room is usually made after the check-out time and we reserve the right to make charges for any damages or breakages found before the room is occupied again.

Please be aware that bed linen and towels should be placed where they were originally found. The bed linen and towels are NOT gifts and should remain in the room.

No Smoking

The Inn at Manana is a non-smoking property. This applies to both traditional smoking methods and all electronic delivery systems, including vapes, vaporizers, vape pens, hookah pens, electronic cigarettes (e-cigarettes or e-cigs), e-pipes, and any variations of the foregoing regardless of the product’s name. Any smoking in the rooms or strong lingering smoking scents in rooms will result in a $100 room cleaning fee.

Cancellation Policy

Life happens. We get that. Reservations are fully refundable up to 48 hours prior to check-in. Reservations canceled less than 48 hours prior to check-in will result in the loss of your reservation deposit. To cancel a reservation, please call us at +1 250 245-2312 or email us at inn@mananaresort.ca. All cancellations are confirmed via email immediately after the reservation has been canceled. If you have not received a cancelation confirmation email, your reservation may not be considered cancelled, so please contact us to ensure we have your canceled your reservation.

Force Majeure

“Force Majeure Event” means any of the following events affecting multiple Guests and multiple accommodations: acts of God; volcanic eruption; (natural) disaster; fire; (acts of) war; hostilities or any local or national emergency; invasion; compliance with any order or request of any national, provincial, port, or other public authority, government regulation, or intervention; military action, civil war, or terrorism; (biological, chemical, or nuclear) explosion; rebellion; riots; insurrection; strikes; civil disorder (or the material or substantial threat or justified apprehension of any such events); curtailment of transportation facilities; close-down of airports; or any other exceptional and catastrophic event, circumstance, or emergency, preventing or making it impossible or illegal or highly unsafe for Guests to travel to or stay at the Accommodation.

Where a Force Majeure Event occurs, the Inn at Manana will not charge and will repay, if applicable, the guests affected by the Force Majeure Event any fee, costs, expenses, or other amount (including the (non-refundable) rate or the no-show, (change of) reservation, or cancellation fee) for:

(i) any cancellation or change to the reservation made by the Guests; or
(ii) the part of the reservation that was not used due to the Force Majeure Event.

If there is reasonable and justified doubt, the Inn at Manana may ask a Guest to provide reasonable evidence of the causality between the Force Majeure Event and their cancellation, no-show, or change of reservation.

Standard Booking Price

The Standard Booking price includes the following:
– Internet and TV usage
– Towels, bed linen and hairdryer
– Cleaning before and after your stay ((we offer a room refresh if you are stay more than 2 nights, including fresh towels and bed reset. This will be coordinated via sms. If you require any additional linens, please call us at +1 250 245-2312.
– All room amenities and facilities as mentioned on our website pages and in our correspondence

Reservations can only be taken and confirmed by making an advance payment of 50% of the full rental amount. This can be paid using debit and credit cards. We will process your booking within 24 hours of receiving your request. Please note, your booking has not been made or verified until you receive a confirmation email from inn@mananaresort.ca

Extending Your Stay

After you have booked your stay with us, you can extend your stay (depending on availability) by simply letting us know before you arrive. If you are already staying with us and you would like to stay longer, please let us know at least 24 hours before your check-out date. We will do our best to accommodate your new plans and this can include relocating you to a similar room should this be necessary.

Room Policy

We want you to have a great time when you are here. But if things get too crazy, we go by the old-school rule of ‘you break it, you buy it’ and property damages or missing items will be charged to your credit card at market value. Pre-existing damages or room issues must be reported to the front desk immediately after registration to avoid responsibility and potential charges. Please observe quiet hours from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.

Parking Policy

Vacations should be stress-free and for that reason, we provide free parking in our upper parking lot. By parking a vehicle at our facility, you (and your guests) are doing so on your own accord. The hotel does not take responsibility or accept liability for damage, accident or loss to your vehicle or personal property. But guess what? We’ve got state-of-the-art surveillance cameras watching over the parking lot so, should anything seem amiss, let us know, and we’ll check out the footage. We reserve the right to tow vehicles if they are left in our lot past your reservation dates.

Minimum Age Policy

All guests must be 21 years or older to confirm guestroom accommodations. A valid photo ID must be presented at the time of check in for age verification.

Alcohol Policy

We require all alcoholic beverages on the property to be consumed within the Inn or at our adjoining restaurant. No alcoholic beverages are permitted to be consumed in the shared Garden area or in any other part of the property.

Room Cleaning Policy

Room refreshes will not be offered during stays less than two nights. If you are staying for more than two nights and would like your room refreshed, please call the front desk at (250) 245-2312 or email inn@mananaresort.ca.

Firearms Policy

Any guest or visitor who is in possession of a firearm on hotel premises is personally responsible for abiding by all applicable federal, provincial and local laws with respect to firearms. Subject to the following restrictions, guests who are lawfully permitted to possess a firearm may bring such firearm onto hotel premises, provided that the presence of the firearm on hotel premises: is for storage purposes only; the firearm is and remains at all times unloaded; the firearm is and remains secured, ammunition unloaded, in a locked, hard-sided firearm container, provided by the guest, while transported to or from the guest room and while stored therein; and the firearm remains securely safeguarded at all times in a locked guest room. You must also store the ammunition separately from the firearm or in the same locked container as the firearm, if you are traveling with a locking gun case. Guests who fail to abide by this policy may be asked to leave the hotel premises, without refund. The hotel premises are private property, and our firearms policy applies to: (i) all firearms, regardless of whether the firearm is a handgun or a long-barreled gun; and (ii) all guests and visitors, even those possessing a valid license or permit to carry a firearm. The only exception to the restrictions described in this firearms policy statement is for law enforcement officers and designated military personnel, who are on-duty and required to carry firearms in the performance of their duties.

Guest Safety Policy

As part of our commitment to guest safety, employees will not disclose the identity, room number or presence of a guest to anyone other than appropriate law enforcement. This includes the taking of or delivery of messages or indirect forwarding of phone calls. It is the responsibility of guests to communicate their presence and room number to any person they wish to receive calls or visits from. Safety cameras are used throughout the premises, and anyone on our property may be recorded. The hotel assumes no responsibility for any personal bodily injury incurred while using the marina rental kayaks and paddleboards or other marina facilities, where available. If you use the marina rental kayaks and paddleboards or other marina facilities, you do so at your own risk and a waiver must be signed at the marina office.
